and im sure the quick locks are a little faster but nothing like the SUPER fast change for the powerblocks. Ya i had the old ironmaster style set and it was just like olympic handles (but for about 10x the cost) took forever to bend over after sets and adjust the plates on and off. for now i just do all my olympic barbell work 1st and then use the 90s and they arent as light as if i used them 1st. im gonna keep the 90s and everyday keep looking for big blocks and sell my 90s when i can get the big blocks. and powerblocks are on one day and gone the next. Ive never seen newer ironmasters for sale used. if anyone wants more information or thinks i forgot to mention something just pm me and i will be happy to help in any way i can. overall one of the best purchases i ever made. the few cons i listed you can just ignore because they are negligible. i want to shake the hand of the person who created these. i honestly don't know how to describe how happy i am with my purchase. They look different compared to a traditional dumbbell, they are a little bottom heavy since that is where the 2.5lb weights are located, and your hand is "boxed in", but with a little use i got used to them and it didn't bother me at all just put the pins under the weight you want, which are color coded and listed on the handle, and you are free to lift only took me about 15 min to attach stage 3.Ĭouldn't be any easier to adjust. stage 1 and 2 require no tools, and stage 3 requires a 5mm alan wrench and a 10mm standard wrench. i probably could have found them cheaper online, but i still saved thousands upon thousands of dollars compared to buying them buy the poundĮasy to assemble.
